Hello quilters,

Now I have really excelled myself and figured out how to do an extra page just for my machine quilting.  I have a long arm machine....a Nolting 18" on a Grace frame.  Patchwork and quilting has been a part of my life for the past 20 years, and long arm quilting for almost 10 years.  I love doing custom work, but also enjoy using some of the fabulous designs that are available for edge to edge quilting.

I am living in Waipukurau and I quilt at our shop premises at 29 River Terrace (we are just opposite the camping ground).  We (my husband Kerry and I) used to have a patchwork and quilting shop with all the works.....fabric everywhere.  Life was hectic and I am quite pleased to be a little quieter.

We do still have our Janome Sewing machine agency and Kerry keeps busy with repairing and servicing sewing machine (all types), overlockers plus sharpening knives, scissors, hoes, secatueurs, hedge clippers and all sorts of other types of sharp objects.

We also supply extra wide backing fabrics in a range of colours and stock batting in wool, cotton, fusible cotton and low loft.

Here are some pictures of some recent quilts....those I remember to take a photo of !!!

A stitchery quilt where it is hard to decide what to do on the stitched blocks.

A close up of the embroidery blocks.  I framed them with small feathers.

I was really pleased with how Lyn's quilt came up.  It was the first time I had used small free motion feathers for the whole of the background and it really suited this quilt that is made from Robyn Pandolph fabrics.  The block patterns are also from a larger quilt designed by Robyn.

A close up of one of the blocks.  Lyn's handwork was excellent.

The border came up well too.

This quilt is my own design and was for the 2012 Shop Hop.  I loved playing with the different fabrics and pink was totally out of my comfort zone.  Had to put some green in to make me feel comfortable.  I actually quilted this on my Janome Horizon 7700P...a lovely machine that  makes quilting a dream.

What a star!!

This block has a name that eludes me right now but it looks good.

Thank you for looking at my quilts and I hope they give you inspiration to go quilt some more.

Blessings
Clare
